Hemp Seed Oil vs CBD Oil
If you Google hemp seed oil, you may notice that thousands of results for CBD (cannabidiol) oil come up, making it seem like these two names are interchangeable.
In fact, hemp seed oil and CBD are very different.
They both come from the hemp plant. However, the key difference is which part of the plant is used to make the two oils.
What are the differences?
Hemp seeds (to make hemp seed oil) contain very little CBD. Instead, they are full of rich nutrients such as antioxidants, omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, that help to combat inflammation, improve skin and coat condition, reduce allergies and may even ease mild anxiety.
The hemp seeds in our Hemp Seed Oil for dogs are cold-pressed to extract the oil and can be given to your dog orally or applied directly to their coat for maximum moisturising.
On the other hand, CBD comes from the stalks, leaves and buds of the hemp plant. While it can be attributed to a number of wonderful anti-inflammatory and health benefits, CBD is different from hemp seed oil.
