Our Australian Supply Partners & Natural Ingredients

Our products are Australian-made and locally sourced

At Houndztooth, our products are made for the love of animals.

We care about their health and wellbeing, and ensure that our products are manufactured from Australian ingredients using local Australian manufacturers. We hold ourselves to a higher standard and promise never to use harmful or untrusted ingredients.

We have natural dog shampoo that harnesses the power of Australian botanicals and essential oils, 100% Australian training treats, Australian hemp health supplements, and leather leads and collars handcrafted by Australia’s leading leather craftsman, Angus Barrett.

Australian Made and Owned

Following the recent pandemic of COVID-19, ‘It’s never been more important to buy Australian than right now’, is the tagline of the new promotional initiative from the Australian Made Campaign Ltd (AMCL).

The ACML organisation are responsible for administering and promoting the famous Australian Made logo that our products carry. So why do we fit the mould? Because our products are Australian-made using natural, locally sourced ingredients and materials.

Selecting our Australian partners

We believe in working with Australian-based suppliers who align with our vision and support our mission to provide quality, natural, Australian-made products for your pets.

We guarantee that our carefully selected Australian supply partners use only local and sustainably sourced ingredients.

Hemp health supplements

Our hemp health supplements have been specifically formulated to aid your precious pup in a variety of ways, including easing anxiety, coat nourishment, gut health and itch relief.

After decades of intensive research and development, our Australian hemp supply partner has raised the bar on excellence in custom-built production systems.

From seed, soil and harvest all the way through to bottling and packaging, they take care in nurturing their locally grown hemp crops, ensuring the highest quality human-grade hemp seed oil for our supplements and our pets.

Botanicals and essential oils

Australian botanicals and essential oils are at the core of every product in our natural grooming range. We blend together a carefully formulated combination of botanicals to create pet shampoo and conditioner that is gentle and nourishing on your dog or cat’s skin.

We are dedicated to delivering only the best for our four-legged family members, all of our Australian botanicals and essential oils are locally sourced and premium-grade.

Training treats

Our training treats are made from 100% Australian chicken, lamb and beef. Sourced from a sustainable, Australian-based supplier, our training treats are grain-free and gluten-free, and they don’t contain any artificial flavours, preservatives or fillers.

A local farming family, our training treats application partner has been working in the pet food industry for over 25 years. They are committed to protecting natural resources and biodiversity, contributing to the fight against climate change and reducing product waste through recycling.

Our supply partner’s state-of-the-art drying facility in regional NSW air dries our training treats – rather than cooking them – to ensure the healthiest, tastiest, best quality product for your pet.

Leather collars and leads

When it comes to our pets, we put quality and comfort first. Our luxurious leather collars and leads are innovatively designed by Houndztooth and skillfully handcrafted by Angus Barrett, Australia’s leading leather craftsman.

An expert in his field, we selected Angus to be our supply partner because of his ‘raw-to-retail’ philosophy, which sees him regularly traversing the globe in search of the highest quality leather available.

Handcrafted in Angus’ workshop in Orange, NSW, our leads and collars are proudly Australian-made using the highest quality leather from the UK and Europe.

We’re proud to be Australian

Our company was born here, our products are made here, and our ingredients and materials are sourced here. Not only are we proud to be Australian, but we’re also proud to provide quality pet products – all locally sourced and made – to the furriest members of our family.
