Houndztooth was founded in 2018 by Rachael Tricarico, whose lifelong passion for animal health shaped the vision for the brand. Rachael’s background includes a Bachelor of Business in International Trade and specialised studies in Natural Animal Nutrition at the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies. Combined with her experience as a national equestrian rider preparing horses for shows and dressage, and her years working within Australia’s pet industry, Houndztooth was built on a deep understanding of premium nutrition, well-being, and functional health for dogs.

At Houndztooth, we believe that a healthy dog is a happy dog. Our shared love for dogs and dedication to their well-being connects us closely with the mission of Guide Dogs Victoria.
